a 'we are the world' for our generation? ehhh... perhaps. but, i might offer, when have this many celebrities gotten behind a politician in such a major way? this is politics, not project RED, not save DARFUR, not habitat for humanity. these folks are standing behind a man (ultimately a politician) who represents an ideal that we want so badly to believe in. musicians and actresses and comedians (chris rock left me a voicemail last night telling me to vote today) rallying around this ideal, this man, our hope! and these folks are from all walks of life but yet they're all relatively young and well-off and probably have never identified with anything other than the democratic party, which is completely fine with me. okay, maybe i should stop and write on my own blog! keep up the good work! yay!
